Updated 7 October 2026

To install a Spidot eSIM on a Samsung Galaxy, open Settings, tap Connections, then SIM manager, choose Add eSIM and scan the QR code from your email. It takes a few minutes and needs an internet connection.

What you need

  • A Galaxy S20 or newer, or another Galaxy that supports eSIM
  • A carrier-unlocked phone
  • Wi-Fi or mobile data
  • The QR code from your Spidot email

Steps

  1. STEP1

    Open Settings and tap Connections.

  2. STEP2

Tap SIM manager. On some models it is called SIM card manager.

  3. STEP3

    Tap Add eSIM.

  4. STEP4

Choose Scan QR code and scan the code from your Spidot email.

  5. STEP5

Confirm to add the eSIM and wait until it shows as active.

  6. STEP6

In SIM manager, keep your own SIM for calls and texts and choose the Spidot eSIM for Mobile data.

  7. STEP7

When you arrive, turn on Data roaming in Connections > Mobile networks.

If it does not work

The QR code will not scan

Turn up the brightness of the screen showing the code, or open the code on another device. You can also enter the details by hand.
