1What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in a comparable way; in this policy we call them all "cookies". This policy explains how Switas Tech Inc. ("Spidot", "we") uses them on spidot.com. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle the personal data they collect.
2The categories we use
Our cookie banner groups cookies into four categories:
- Necessary: needed for the Site to work, for example to keep you signed in, remember your cookie choices and take payments securely. These are always on, because the Site cannot work without them.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the Site, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4.
- Marketing: help us measure our advertising and show you relevant Spidot ads on other sites (Google Ads and remarketing, Meta advertising).
- Preferences: would remember choices such as language. We do not currently use any preference cookies.

Third-party providers may change the names or lifetimes of their cookies. We review this list when we change our tags. Google's own information about how it uses data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4How we ask for your consent
We show a cookie banner to every visitor. We load all Google tags through Google Tag Manager and use Google Consent Mode v2: until you allow a category, Google tags in that category do not set cookies. In Consent Mode, Google may still receive cookieless signals (such as the fact that a page was viewed) to help model results, without identifying you.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and marketing cookies are off by default and only set if you accept them.
- Elsewhere, analytics and marketing cookies may be on by default, and you can turn them off at any time.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data, and keep marketing cookies off for that browser.
5Changing your choices
Use the "Cookie settings" (or "Your privacy choices") link at the bottom of every page to see and change your choices at any time. If you withdraw consent, we stop setting those cookies; existing cookies are removed where we can, or you can delete them in your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, signing in and checkout may not work. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
6Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we add, remove or change cookies. We show the date of the latest version at the top of this page. If we add a new category of cookies, we will ask for your consent again where required.
